Are you a determined, organized, and goal-oriented individual with a passion for networking and building connections in the interior design and construction industry?

Our high-end flooring showroom in Park Slope is seeking a Showroom Marketing Assistant to represent our brand both inside and outside the showroom.


Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain connections with interior designers, architects, and general contractors.

- Actively network and attend events to create new business relationships.

- Schedule and conduct meetings with industry professionals.

- Assist the company owner with various tasks and marketing initiatives.

- Work primarily in the showroom but also conduct meetings and networking events outside, driving to meetings and bringing wooden samples.


Requirements:

- Assertive, well-spoken, organized, and goal-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

- Proven track record of building and maintaining professional relationships successfully.

- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a car for transportation to meetings and events, including the ability to transport wooden samples.

- Previous experience in marketing, sales, or customer service is highly desirable, showcasing a solid foundation in business development and client engagement.

- Openness to learning about the flooring industry and a willingness to become knowledgeable about its trends, products, and services to better connect with industry professionals and clients.


Compensation:

- Hourly wage plus commission.


Please note that this is not a sales position; the primary focus is on creating connections and fostering relationships. As long as successful, there is potential for expansion to a full-time role.
