Position Overview

This role supports Sourcing and Procurement efforts by collaborating closely with business stakeholders and the internal Procurement team. The position focuses on implementing solutions to align with Procurement requirements and Compliance policies, analyzing spend and pricing trends, and ensuring alignment with action plans for Sourcing and BQMS Marketing initiatives. Responsibilities may include vendor cost analysis, rate and spend evaluation, risk assessment, and responding to ad-hoc requests from headquarters. The role involves extensive interaction with internal teams to identify challenges, analyze data, and contribute to actionable solutions that support business objectives.


Education: Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree not necessary.

Experience: Preference for candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience.


Key Responsibilities

The candidate will:

  • Lead Sourcing and Procurement initiatives for SEA Procurement, including bids, quotes, and tactical negotiations for marketing procurement activities.
  • Independently manage RFP processes for simple-to-medium complexity projects, covering market research, RFP creation, and bid communication management.
  • Oversee BQMS/Sourcing vendor relationships, promoting adherence to Client's Procurement guidelines to minimize risk and optimize processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and marketing units to ensure adoption of BQMS and Procurement practices related to P2P processes and vendor onboarding.
  • Deliver internal and external BQMS training, continuously monitor adoption, and ensure successful implementation.
  • Develop and maintain data repositories to track project statuses and create comprehensive reports.
  • Address Sourcing/Procurement issues and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and new processes.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to evaluate vendor compliance.
  • Generate metrics for auditing purposes, present findings across organizational levels, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Assist team leads in creating operational manuals and procedures to enhance audit efficiency and deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Background and Experience:

  • Proficient in MS Project, Excel (advanced functions like Macros), Word, PowerPoint, and SAP.
  • Proven data-driven approach to problem-solving and demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with experience working on cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes.

  • Ability to collect and analyze data from diverse sources, create detailed spreadsheets, charts, and reports, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities, and achieving deadlines independently or as part of a team.
