Job Summary:

  • Looking for a Software Verification Engineer for verifying software in medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements.
  • Design, implement, and execute test plans and procedures to identify software defects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts based on software requirements. Ensure coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document test results and defects. Maintain test reports and compliance documentation. Communicate outcomes to development teams and management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers and systems engineers to understand software requirements and functionality.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure testing complies with FDA, ISO 13485, and IEC 62304 standards. Stay updated with industry best practices.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years in software testing, preferably in medical devices.
  • Experience with testing tools (e.g., ClearQuest, Jama) and familiarity with regulatory standards.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Python, C# for test automation.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
