Structural Designer

Description:

  • Create corrugated packaging that provides optimal protection/visual interest
  • Work with sales team to provide customers with best possible design solutions
  • Report to Design Manager to construct and review physical packaging samples to ensure optimal solutions.
  • Collaborate with production department to determine project viability.
  • Create all designs through Artios CAD utilizing all converting equipment capabilities.
  • Provide internal and external customers with preliminary and final die-lines.
  • Be involved in formal and informal client presentations/discussions with sales or individually regarding packaging concepts.
  • Create white sample and full mock-ups to customer as needed for preliminary approval of structural concept.


Basic qualifications:

  • Proficient in Artios CAD
  • Outstanding verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Experience with machine and board combination tolerances.
  • Experience with multi-tasking numerous projects from concept through finished good orders.
  • Ability to create unique designs which provides supply chain solutions to our customers and retailers.
