Ultimate Staffing is looking for a Financial Planning Analyst for our financial services client in Irvine, CA.

Contract Duration: 6 months (with opportunity to extend or convert)

Pay: $68hr

Job Responsibilities:

* Performs financial analysis by utilizing key financial indicators and business drivers.

* Prepares and reviews management reports; contributes to an environment of continuous improvement, including streamlining reporting and increasing the efficiency of processes.

* Collaborates with business partners, including senior business leaders, to develop budgets, forecasts, and various ad hoc analyses.

Job Qualifications:

* Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, and experience with an enterprise accounting system (such as SAP).

* Requires a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related function.

* Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related degree. MBA is preferred but not required.

* Intermediate (minimum) SAP BPC/EPM knowledge

* Data Analysis (basic excel modeling is a plus here)

* System integration

* Basic Project Management experience

* Ability to think conceptually and analytically about key impacts of operations on financial results.

* Ability to identify process improvement opportunities for processes and reports.

* Ability to work in a team environment; initiative to work independently and contribute to department goals; and ability to lead others while maintaining effective business relationships with associates throughout the organization.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
