Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute our financial management strategy, considering multiple variables and methodologies.
  • Independently perform complex and technical financial analysis, including gathering required information, organizing, and presenting findings.
  • Represent our department on all financial matters, collaborating with peers throughout the organization.
  • Utilize spreadsheet and database software for complex financial analysis, fiscal management, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and students.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience/training.
  • Thorough knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems.
  • Ability to independently gather required information, organize, and perform financial analysis assignments.
  • Proven ability to effectively present information verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven ability to use spreadsheet and database software for complex financial analysis, fiscal management, and financial reporting.
  • Proven interpersonal skills, with a strong service orientation and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources.
  • Finance experience in a university setting.
