Onward Search needs a Program Manager for a financial services client. Our client is embarking on an exciting journey of transformation, where they are evolving the Marketing Technologies and Digital Customer Experience strategy on a multi-dimensional platform. As a Program Manager, you'll play a key role in driving the planning, execution, and delivery of this platform. The ideal candidate is passionate about innovation and possesses natural leadership skills and a critical mindset. To work within a highly functional team, you must be self-motivated, adaptable, and adept at navigating dynamic and fast-paced environments with ever-changing priorities.


This is a 12-month project opportunity working three days on-site in Newark, DE or Newton, MA.

As a Program Manager, you’ll:

  • Evaluate and ensure the ongoing effectiveness of current plans and programs from intake to postproduction and iteration, meeting business needs.
  • Educate team members and stakeholders on department policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Organize, map, and prioritize projects across various channels and products.
  • Compile quantitative and qualitative data across application tools to report team health and investment performance.
  • Own, create, and manage program plans, timelines, talent, and identify and communicate possible risks to stakeholders.
  • Conduct and support planning sessions to drive the vision of the digital customer experience.
  • Contribute to executive and stakeholder reporting.
  • Identify, manage, and address risks, issues, and changes tied to product development initiatives.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of project activity, developing uniform procedures for storage.
  • Promote the vision and business goals of the digital customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities to embrace scalable innovative technologies and processes.

Skills & Experience needed:

  • 5+ years of program management experience for marketing and digital transformational initiatives.
  • Experience in clarifying objectives, dealing with ambiguity, advocating for simplification, and influencing teams.
  • Experience with using Workfront.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with development teams, product managers, and third parties.
  • Delivery background with a solid understanding of software engineering and technologies, particularly mobile and web.
  • Organized, diligent, proactive, and passionate about delivery.
  • Experience in understanding technology solutions at an enterprise level.
