Key Responsibilities:

  1. Embedded Software Development:
  • Design and implement embedded software using C++ for microcontrollers, SoCs, and FPGAs.
  • Develop firmware for various applications, ensuring efficient functionality.
  1. Hardware Integration:
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with custom-designed boards.
  • Perform board bring-up, debugging, and testing.
  1. RTOS and Real-Time Systems:
  • Work with real-time operating systems (RTOS) for time-critical applications.
  • Optimize code for performance and responsiveness.
  1. Protocols and Interfaces:
  • Implement communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART) for device interaction.
  • Interface with external peripherals and sensors.
  1. System Analysis and Troubleshooting:
  • Analyze system behavior using algorithms to troubleshoot and eliminate obstacles.
  • Debug and resolve issues related to memory, timing, and resource constraints.
  1. Collaboration and Project Management:
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in embedded software development
  • Proficiency in C++ programming
  • Familiarity with RF technologies (Z-Wave, ZigBee, Wi-Fi) is advantageous
