Our company has been entrusted to recruit a Quality Engineering Supervisor for a leading appliance manufacturer in Madison, WI. In this critical role, you’ll drive continuous improvement in the company's quality systems while overseeing a team of 10+ quality engineers and technicians.

With the facility’s highly automated assembly process, experience in automation and advanced manufacturing technologies is highly preferred. Success in this role requires familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies, regression analysis, and statistical tools such as Minitab and ANOVA.

The compensation package includes a base salary of up to $130k, plus a bonus and industry-leading benefits, including an exceptional retirement plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop, maintain, and review key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Research and recommend new equipment designs or processes to improve product quality, consistency, and performance.
  • Establish quality system requirements for new or revised products and manufacturing processes.
  • Lead pre-production design reviews and document key control characteristics.
  • Develop and execute measurement plans for geometry data collection.
  • Assist the Business Unit Leader in defining annual Quality goals and objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field, required.
  • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality engineering role.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Strong experience with advanced statistical methodologies (e.g., ANOVA, regression analysis, Six Sigma).
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), preferred.
