Construction Superintendent

Uprite Construction is seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee, manage, and direct all phases of our construction projects in San Jose, CA. As a Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that operations run smoothly, projects are completed efficiently, and the highest quality standards are maintained.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans and safety regulations.
- Direct and manage construction teams from project inception to completion.
- Delegate tasks effectively and resolve on-site issues promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers for seamless project coordination.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and quality control measures.
- Maintain and submit all required documentation and reports.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders.
- Ensure projects meet the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans, ensuring resources and manpower are available and allocated appropriately.
- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues and adjusting schedules as necessary.
- Liaise with contractors, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure open communication throughout the construction project.
- Comply with all local legal requirements, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Review project deliverables for accuracy and thoroughness.
- Resolve on-site issues and emergencies promptly, minimizing project disruptions.
What You'll Bring:
- Extensive senior-level experience in the construction industry.
- Proven expertise in tilt-up projects and ground-up work.
- Ability to present a comprehensive project list along with the resume.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with various stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety standards.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline.
