Dizario Search is partnered with a growing metals manufacturing company, who is seeking an established Facilities Plant Engineer to join their team in the Euclid, OH area. The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation and continuous improvement of plant systems and equipment, including overhead cranes, compressors, boilers, plant heaters, tow motors, wastewater and facility infrastructure. This role ensures safe, reliable and efficient plant operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, parts management, vendor collaboration and facility contract management.ResponsibilitiesManage the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of facilities equipment and systemsMonitor, analyze and optimize plant utilities to improve energy efficiency and reduce operating costsCollaborate with internal maintenance team, outside contractors, vendors and other suppliers to obtain quotes and bids for repairs and upgradesManage all facility-related contracts pertaining to snow removal, crane inspections, janitorial services, HVAC maintenance, etc.Oversee scheduling, coordination and supervision of vendor work, inspections and scheduled maintenance activitiesQualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field of study3+ years' of experience in a Facilities/Plant Engineering or a similar rolePrevious experience managing facility upgrades and capital projects for a manufacturing company is beneficialStrong organizational skills in order to plan, document and keep records of projectsIf interested in hearing more about this Facilities Engineer opportunity, please respond directly to this job posting, or e-mail Dan Rydzewski: drydzewski@dizariosearch.com
