Job Description

Knowledge of Automatic Control Systems theory and Embedded Real-Time Control Systems

Work with specialized software for engine and vehicle calibration

Ability to run engine dyno including developing the test plan.

The core engine calibrators are expected to have experience with engine dyno calibration (engine only dyno), as well as powertrain dyno calibration (engine and transmission installed) and have experience with both the T6 engine in general.

Working knowledge of ETAS INCA and Vector tools.

Ability to set up DOE (Design of Experiments) to run the engine dyno.

Knowledge of steady-state engine mapping and transient engine mapping.

Support project reviews targeted to assure compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements

Support customer meetings

Demonstrate a willingness to learn and build technical knowledge and ability

Maintain ISO required documentation (project diary, open issues list etc.)

Knowledge of On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) standards and architecture

Knowledge of ISO/SAE standard norms for CAN/LIN/PLC communication

Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering and V-Cycle Software Development Processes, including Agile Autoscrum

Working Knowledge English

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with 5 years relevant experience

Ideally 5-6 years experience in the Automotive area
