Certifications & Licenses: ARRT (R) and (M), Mammography license & BLS


Required: 2 years of experience, Able to perform screening and diagnostic mammography at a minimum, Ability to performed DEXA and Biopsy procedures that is a plus

Duties: -Performs mammographic procedure on In/Outpatients according to published department protocols.

-Reviews each prescription, history questionnaire, and patient record prior to the examination to ensure all pertinent information is available for radiologist interpretation.

-Performs radiologic examination with a high standard of accuracy in positioning and technical factors.

-Practices universal precautions, and aseptic technique to prevent cross contamination.

-Practice National Patient Safety Goals, obtaining a minimum of two patient identifiers with each and every patient.

-Processes images using the PAC system.
