Position is full-time, in office, and located in Richmond, Virginia. 


Responsibilities

The firm is seeking to add an enthusiastic team member with a strong work ethic and desire to build a meaningful career in Client Services.  This department is not only client facing but is involved in marketing firm products and investment funds. Seeking an individual with the ability to understand the firm’s product offerings and have the ability to convey this information when opportunities arise for potential clients. Experience writing write RFPs relating to firm products and investment funds and communicate strategies clearly. Necessary skills include ability to work accurately with numerically-based information in spreadsheets and industry-related databases. Significant experience in Excel is a must as well as possess proficient grammar and writing experience in Word. Other responsibilities include the distribution of client reports, performance analysis, answering client inquiries, and communication with internal and external investment professionals and external client/consultant requests. Familiarity with Global Investment Performance Standards and reporting is a plus. Professional demeanor and attention to detail are integral to the position. The job requires the ability to follow procedures and work effectively in a team-based deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

The successful candidate for this post will possess the following attributes and qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree;

·       Financial Markets Experience (Buy-Side Investment Management a plus);

·       Must be good with numbers and have excellent problem-solving skills;

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word required;

·       Strong attention to detail;

·       Work well in a team environment;

·       A strong work ethic and drive to be successful;

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

·       Strong organizational skills;

·       Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
