Senior Product Manager, ALS Devices

Location: Chelmsford, MA ( Hybrid remote-3 days per week on-site)


Position Overview: The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle of our Advanced Life Saving Devices, from ideation to launch and beyond. This role requires a deep understanding of the medical device industry, clinical needs, and market trends. The Senior Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, sales, and regulatory affairs to ensure the successful development and commercialization of our products.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for Advanced Life Saving Devices that aligns with company goals and market needs.
  2. Act as the Voice of Customer for the product portfolio, developing customer requirements and proposing new product concepts. Work proactively and collaboratively with all stakeholders throughout the business to communicate market needs and global strategies for assigned product line(s).
  3. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, engineering, marketing, sales, and regulatory affairs teams to drive product development and commercialization efforts.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders including healthcare professionals, customers, and partners to gather feedback and insights that inform product enhancements and improvements.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all Advanced Life Saving Devices meet regulatory requirements and standards. Collaborate with regulatory affairs team to navigate the regulatory landscape and obtain necessary approvals.
  7. Product Launch: Lead the successful launch of new products, including developing marketing campaigns, sales training materials, and go-to-market strategies.
  8. Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze product performance, sales metrics, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  9. Budget Management: Manage the product budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to meet product development and commercialization goals


Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 7-10 years of product management experience in the medical device industry, with a focus on life-saving devices.
  3. 4-7 years of relevant Upstream product and/or market experience in medical device industry.
  4. Demonstrated track history of successfully launching new products
  5. Capital Equipment experience highly preferred
  6. Strong understanding of clinical needs, healthcare market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
  7. Proven track record of successfully managing and launching medical device products.
  8. Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  9. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data and insights into actionable strategies.
  10. Strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  11. Executive presentation experience
  12. Up to 30% travel required
