Automation QA Engineer

Job Summary: As an Automation QA Engineer at VirtuSense Technologies, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products. You will work closely with the development team and Engineering Support Team to identify issues and improve our automated testing processes. This role requires a strong background in software testing, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for new and existing features.
  • Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and ensure software quality.
  • Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies.
  • Perform thorough regression testing for all the releases and when bugs are resolved.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
  • Continuously improve the automation framework to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
  • Participate in sprint reviews, code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience as an Automation QA Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or Python.
  • Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
