Regulatory Specialist II

Details for the position are as follows:
- 12 month contract to start with the strong possibility of extension or conversion depending on performance.
- Rate: $66-71 an hour.
- Fully onsite in Alameda, CA (open to candidates willing to relocate at their own expense.
Job Description:
- Lead and support regulatory activities, including product registrations, impact assessments, and compliance evaluations.
- Interpret and apply country-specific regulatory requirements to facilitate product registration and ensure change planning aligns with local guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product management, engineering, and labeling teams, to address regulatory requirements and facilitate seamless product registration processes.
- Maintain regular communication with affiliate Regulatory Affairs (RA) teams across various time zones to provide project updates, address issues, and ensure alignment on regulatory initiatives.
- Proactively plan and execute assigned tasks in a timely and organized manner, providing weekly status updates to management.
- Ensure training records are current to support regulatory tasks and demonstrate readiness to initiate projects following internal system training.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors Degree required.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional experience with a primary focus (90%) in regulatory affairs. Please note that academic training or coursework does not count toward this experience requirement.
- APAC experience required.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, SharePoint, MS Office, and other software tools to enhance work efficiency.
