Laboratory Technician

MatMaCorp is a small biological science company located in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are actively developing small, portable and easy to use medical and scientific instruments. Currently, we have an opening for a part-time Laboratory Technician within our Biology Group.


Responsibilities

- Perform laboratory tests and procedures following standard operating protocols

- Conduct microbiological analyses

- Utilize laboratory information management systems to record and track data

- Ensure compliance with Current Good Laboratory Practices (CGLP) regulations

- Assist in quality control measures to maintain accuracy and precision

- Collaborate with team members on scientific research projects

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in basic DNA technology and familiarity with molecular biology, biochemistry, and/or microbiology. We are looking for a dynamic individual with creative abilities who is willing to learn new technologies and who can work under the direction of a senior scientist within the company.


A Bachelor’s degree in any of the Life Sciences is required. 1-2 years relevant experience preferred but not required. This is a part-time position with no benefits. Flexible hours. Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
