The Kroger Company is currently looking to hire a Full Stack .NET Software Engineer on a full time, permanent basis. This opportunity offers a flexible hybrid remote/onsite work schedule and will be based in Boca Raton, FL.


Title: Full Stack .NET Software Engineer

Location: Boca Raton, FL (Hybrid)


Summary:

The Sr. Software Engineer role will work to customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 by adding new features and enhancing existing functionality. The primary technologies are .Net framework, SQL, REST APIs. The primary focus is on architecting and developing new product solutions. This role requires close collaboration with the Boca Dynamics 365 team, especially with the business analysts and QA.



Responsibilities:

  • for participating in the design, development, testing, debugging, maintaining, and documenting software components in accordance with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
  • estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation, and rollout tasks.
  • with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are delivered with the highest of quality and in accordance with standards.

  • a high-quality codebase, lead design discussions, execute development against design, and navigate complex codebase.
  • for development implementation of technical design within a defined set of teams. Execute against defined technology roadmap to support project portfolio and business strategy.

  • technical clarity between ongoing projects and the strategic objectives of the company.
  • digital innovation by leveraging innovative new technologies and approaches to renovate, extend, and transform the existing core technology base and IT estate.
  • high-level migration plans to address the gaps between the current and future state solution.
  • the analysis of the technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • team members in software development principles, patterns, processes and practices.

Qualifications:


  • Degree Computer Science or a STEM major
  • Years of successful and applicable experience taking a lead role in building complex software ad automation systems that has been successfully delivered to customers.
  • 5 plus years of Full Stack .Net software development experience
  • Cloud experience- Azure preferred.
  • Years of proven track record of designing and delivering large scale, high-quality systems.
  • Years of successful and applicable hands-on experience in software or infrastructure development domain and principles, including design patterns and code structure.
  • knowledge of industry trends and industry competition
  • knowledge in a minimum of two of the following technical disciplines: infrastructure and network design, application development, application programming interfaces (APIs), cloud, middleware, servers and storage, database management, and operations
  • of network and security architecture
  • written, oral, and presentation/public speaking communication skills.
  • ability to think and contribute at the strategic level.


Desired:

  • experience in Cloud software service including designing for scale, performance, and reliability.
  • experience in system architecture
  • capability to build, mentor and maintain an inclusive team-based environment.
  • building solution using elastic architectures (preferably Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform)
  • with Microsoft Logic Apps
  • with Microsoft DataLake and Power BI
