ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following but are not limited to):

  • Oversee the clinical operations of occupational, physical therapy, and speech therapy services
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of therapists and support staff
  • Ensure staff maintain high levels of professional competency through ongoing education and training
  • Implement and maintain evidence-based practices in occupational, physical therapy, and speech therapy
  • Develop, review, and update clinical policies and procedures
  • Ensure individualized treatment plans are developed and followed, incorporating client-centered goals
  • Identify opportunities for program expansion and service improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance service delivery
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of clinical services
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Conduct regular audits of consumer records and treatment plans
  • Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively
  • Participate in organizational meetings and committees as required


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy or a related field
  • Current state licensure in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy or Speech Therapy
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy, physical therapy or speech therapy; preferably with individuals with developmental disabilities (special needs)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives
  • Experience with ClinicSource (therapy practice management software preferred)
