Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing personalized therapy sessions to patients with physical, emotional, or developmental impairments. Your goal will be to help them regain independence and improve their quality of life through therapeutic interventions and activities.


Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients’ physical, emotional, and functional abilities through detailed assessments.

Develop personalized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and in consultation with other healthcare professionals.

Implement therapeutic activities and exercises aimed at improving patients’ motor skills, strength, coordination, and range of motion.

Provide adaptive equipment recommendations and training to enhance patients’ independence in daily activities.

Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies to maximize functional outcomes.

Monitor and document patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and interdisciplinary communication.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.


Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.

Proven clinical experience in assessing and treating patients with various physical and mental health conditions.

Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.


Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced certification or training in a specialized area of occupational therapy (e.g., pediatric, geriatric, neurorehabilitation).

Experience working in a hospital, rehabilitation center, or outpatient clinic setting.


Additional Information:

Location: Maplewood, MN

Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract

Shifts: Day shift, 8hr./day

Weekly Gross Range: $1800 to $2000


*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
