Great salary (wide open, depending on experience), healthcare, relocation allowance and /or signing bonus. Work is mainly commercial, mainly serving the Northern MA / So NH biggest GC’s and some institutional owners.

The company is owned by its employees (it’s an ESOP) so participation / equity is on the table as well.

Responsibilities:


As the Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all estimating functions for electrical construction projects to ensure accuracy and completeness. This role includes establishing strategic relationships with clients and subcontractors, and participating in executive-level meetings. You will produce estimates, maintain cost data, and cultivate effective relationships with stakeholders.

  • Establish strategic relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Maintain an understanding of bid components and track marketplace competitors.
  • Participate in executive-level meetings to align estimates with management decisions.
  • Review project plans and specifications, coordinating scope with the team.
  • Maintain construction and material cost trend data.
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Produce estimates using various methods and solicit quotes.
  • Possess an advanced understanding of the electrical industry.
  • Have a minimum of seven years of electrical estimating experience.
  • Be proficient with estimating software and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Identify key issues relevant to achieving long-range goals.
