Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide onsite technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals used by employees at the distribution center.
  2. Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software as needed, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
  3. Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely manner, escalating issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
  4. Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure the security and reliability of IT systems.
  5. Train employees on the proper use of hardware and software applications, promoting efficient and effective utilization of technology resources.
  6. Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technology solutions and enhancements, contributing to the continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and processes.
  7. Maintain accurate records of support activities, hardware inventory, and software licenses.
  8. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding IT security, data privacy, and compliance with industry regulations.
  9. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology, proactively recommending opportunities for innovation and improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in desktop support or technical helpdesk roles, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS) and productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office, G Suite).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or similar are a plus.
