Responsibilities:

  • Explore and apply Google Cloud Platform services to continually refine application architecture
  • Develop microservices utilizing Java and the Quarkus framework
  • Facilitate integrations with third-party APIs in areas such as payments, banking, loyalty programs, commerce, and property management
  • Advocate for and improve automation strategies involving infrastructure as code, CI/CD, monitoring, and alerting
  • Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Produce well-designed, testable, and efficient code
  • Emerge as a key player in our team, collaborating with the Head of Engineering and Head of Product

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Proven, hands-on software development experience
  • Evident expertise in Java development, REST, API security standards, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Familiarity with the start-up environment is preferable
  • A fierce determination to succeed and contribute to overall team objectives
  • Flexibility, as we're transforming an industry, deviations from conventional processes should be anticipated.
