Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing team at a well-funded, venture-backed DeFi startup. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our backend services, which power our production software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable backend services using a compiled language such as Rust, C++, or C, and a backend development language like TypeScript, Python, or Node.
  • Collaborate with our team to integrate our services with the Solana ecosystem, including indexers, RPC nodes, validator nodes, wallet connectors, and wallets.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Solana architecture, including leaders, shreds, transaction structures, and Jito bundles.
  • Work closely with our team to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure systems and software.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience, preferably in the crypto space.
  • Experience with at least one compiled language and one backend development language.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and frameworks, including TCP, UDP, WebSockets, Protocol Buffers, and gRPC.
  • Experience with the Solana ecosystem or having written code that interfaces with it.
Bonus Qualifications
  • iOS or Android experience.
