Position Overview

Based on a strong relationship with key customers and a small, dedicated team sales professionals. The company’s sales are growing, but they need to expand, innovate, and grow their business from their customer base, while at the same time acquiring new customers. Our client is seeking a dynamic Sales Marketing Director to spearhead the reinventing of the existing sales force, while creating a Marketing Team to support the company’s sales efforts with improved marketing communications, improved website, and developing online sales presence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to maximize sales opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Establish and lead a Marketing Team, responsible for brand management, digital marketing, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and optimize existing sales channels.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to leverage insights from existing customer base and develop targeted marketing campaigns to retain and expand customer relationships.
  • Drive the development and implementation of an effective online sales model, focusing on website optimization, ecommerce platforms, and digital advertising.
  • Oversee the revamping of the company website to enhance user experience, increase online visibility, and drive conversion rates.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and other departments to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Track record of success in sales and marketing leadership roles, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Creating and implementing marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  • Understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, SEM, social media, and e-commerce.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
  • A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The targeted base compensation for this position is $150,000 to $175,000 and an excellent bonus. The total compensation should be in the range of $250,000 or more. This company offers a full complement of benefits for the employee and dependents.
