This position enables you to use your creative and analytical skills to help Famous Software employees communicate with customers, prospects, and each other. Media include print, the Web, e-learning tools, social media, and video.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise in the entire Famous Software product line, pricing structure, and target markets
  • Assist with the development and implementation of annual marketing plans
  • Support execution of marketing campaigns
  • Assist with social media planning, content creation and publishing
  • Support the development and dissemination of the monthly internal newsletter
  • Create content for various channels (PR, Trade, Email, Social, Web, etc.) using a variety of media (photo, video, graphics, diagrams, screenshots, etc.) ensuring appropriate tone with correct spelling and grammar
  • Support website maintenance in collaboration with all internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand marketing and communication opportunities
  • Support the development of and distribution of sales materials related to the entire Famous Software product line
  • Support sales record maintenance using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and project planning software
  • Create and execute email campaigns to current customers, prospects and internal stakeholders
  • Assist with internal and external trainings, webinars and product demos
  • Support analysis of email, social, web and other advertising
  • Compile and disseminate analytical reports on a regular basis (weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually) to senior leadership
  • Support planning and execution of key trade events
  • Support sales team as needed (scheduling monthly site management calls, create customer portfolios, and other administrative tasks as needed)


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree or experience in Marketing, Electronic Publishing, or Communications
  • Experience with Adobe Flash, XML, XHTML, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Expertise with the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Experience with video production, e- learning tools such as ZZ-LCMS, Camtasia, Snagit, Adobe CS3, Joomla, CSS, Twitter, Facebook, .net, PHP, Google AdWords, and graphic design experience
  • Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with event planning
  • Motivation and time management skills
  • Passion for new technologies and attention to detail


Relocation and Telecommuting

At this time, Famous Software does not offer relocation packages. Additionally, telecommuting is not an option for this position.
