INVENTORY ANALYST
Temporary role for our client in Hazleton, PA or potentially Pittsburgh, PA.
Workplace Type: Hybrid
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor Inventory levels and ensure accurate adjustments/movements are made; report findings to management as needed
- Create and maintain inventory accuracy metrics and associated reports for management
- Daily research and reconciliation of inventory adjustments and note the impact to specific accounts
- Review and research file groups for accuracy and adjustments made to purchase orders
- Work cross-functionally to identify potential issues and identify solutions
- Work with peers to implement process improvements to optimize inventory accuracy
- Communicate department needs to inventory associates as required
- Review, update and maintain all process documentation
- Other duties and projects as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred
- 1+ year of experience accounting for inventory
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet established deadlines
- Strong analytic, problem solving, investigative and follow up skills
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and follow-up
- Advanced Excel skills are required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
