Estimator - Water/Wastewater, WWTP

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator with expertise in wastewater projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing estimates, and supporting the overall project planning process, ensuring that all estimates are completed in a timely manner and aligned with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate estimates for wastewater-related projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
- Utilize construction estimating software to develop detailed project budgets.
- Conduct take-offs and assess labor, material, and overhead costs associated with projects.
- Prepare and present detailed estimates and forecasts to stakeholders.
- Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle, accommodating changes as necessary.
- Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and methods to enhance estimating accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably in the wastewater or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods as they relate to wastewater management.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and scheduling tools.
- Excellent mathematical skills and ability to perform complex calculations.
- Familiarity with building materials and commercial construction practices.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail.
