The Senior Account Executive (Senior AE) plays an essential role in establishing and building a trusted relationship with agency clients, and representing the quality reputation of the agency. The successful Senior AE is the key, day-to-day agency representative and project manager, is highly responsive to client requests, and anticipates client needs. A primary qualification of the Senior AE is demonstrated expertise in all aspects of project management including project initiation and development of internal briefing documents, project scheduling and oversight, quality control, management of review and approval processes, and strict adherence to meeting deadlines. Equally critical is the Senior AE’s ability to develop a strategic understanding of client project goals, and become knowledgeable in the client’s industry and business, as well as the role and functions of the agency. 

 

The Senior AE provides critical input in developing strategic marketing plans for clients. After plans are developed and presented to clients, the Senior AE is responsible for ensuring the plan is carried out successfully, from initiation of projects through development and client review/approval to campaign/program implementation and evaluation of results.

 

The Senior Account Executive reviews creative concepts to confirm whether they meet strategic goals and confers with the agency’s client leads before delivery to the client for review and approval. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Should hold a Bachelor's degree in marketing or similar subject matter area, together with successful experience in project and team management.
  • Advertising/communications agency experience is a plus
  • Essential capabilities include strong verbal and written communications skills; ability to produce and perfect project documents submitted to clients; facilitation of client briefings; analytical thinking; understanding of the B2B and B2C environment; dynamic presentation skills; personal organization; and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Position requires proximity to The Paige Group’s headquarters in Utica, NY and ability to travel to client locations.
  • Should have a valid driver's license
  • Must have ability to work within the United States


Duties:

–     Maintains direct, day-to-day, senior level client contact and facilitates client briefings and meetings.

–     Coordinates and analyzes client input with background knowledge, research, field feedback, etc., to provide insights on the development of strategic marketing and communications plans.

–     Collaborates with the agency’s client leads and creative team in development of project and creative briefs, messaging and content for application to traditional and digital tools.

–     Provides creative, production, media, public relations and interactive department personnel with well-documented input, support data and production materials as required; ensures that advertising strategies are clearly defined, approved by clients, and understood by the team.

–     Actively participates in the presentation of communications plans, concepts, media, and interactive marketing plans to clients.

–     Oversees overall program and project schedules; tracks and manages budgets, including coordinating estimate from vendors when needed; coordinates client review/approval of budgets and estimates; provides clients with budget updates.

–     Prior to submission to client, ensures overall design and content (copy and visuals) is on brand and accurate.

–     Coordinates review/approval with the agency’s client lead as appropriate, and manages client review, edits/updates and approval.

–     Is continuously alert to new business opportunities and plays a supportive role in the development of new business proposals.

–     Represents the agency at industry functions.

–     Continuously works to upgrade knowledge and skills through available reading, courses, and seminars.


Position is Hybrid — a combination of working remotely and requiring regular on-site client interactions in the Greater Utica, New York area.
