Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Estimator/Assistant Project Manager at WT Construction, Inc. located in Baton Rouge, LA. The Junior Estimator/Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for assisting the project management/estimating departments in bidding, communicating with subcontractors, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring that projects are completed on-time and within budget.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree/ working toward degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Experience with construction estimating and project coordination
  • Ability to learn estimating software
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills a must
  • Knowledge of construction codes and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple projects
  • Willing and able to work closely with General Contractors and Vendors
  • Experience with Procore or other project management software is a plus
  • Basic understanding of masonry parts and pieces preferred
