This unique opportunity involves working closely with Andrew and the team to contribute to strategic decision-making, operational support, relationship management, project management, brand management, and client relations. The ideal candidate will be excited about the concept, mission, and vision of Farell Finch and eager to support the Founder in driving the company’s success.
This is a full-time hybrid position that will require time in-office but also flexibility to work remotely when appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Advisor: Provide strategic guidance and prioritize tasks, accommodating the Founder’s energetic and enthusiastic style.
Operational Support: Manage high-level client-facing responsibilities while handling practical tasks such as logistics, supplies, and client gifts.
Calendar Management: Oversee Founder’s schedule, ensuring a focus on high-priority matters and acting as a gatekeeper.
Relationship Management: Foster and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and clients, representing Management in various contexts.
Business Development: Connect with potential clients, ironing out details for large speaking and facilitation contracts.
Project Management: Lead and oversee key projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and successful completion.
Meeting Preparation and Follow-up: Prepare briefing materials for meetings and ensure effective follow-up on action items.
Team Coordination: Partner with current staff to advance the company’s mission.
Special Projects: Lead or contribute to special projects as directed, bringing expertise, research, and support.
Confidentiality: Maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality, especially with sensitive information.
Qualifications:
Type A personality with a drive to finish tasks autonomously, efficiently, correctly, and thoroughly.
Deep understanding of the responsibilities of accounting and finance professionals.
Passion for human connection, communication, and relationship building.
Proven experience in strategic planning, leadership, and project management.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and writing.
Tech-savvy and comfortable troubleshooting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software programs.
Ability to think creatively and strategically, contributing to higher-level decisions and visionary projects.
Willingness to support both day-to-day tasks and larger strategic initiatives, including product/service launches.
Strong marketing sense and interest in emerging technologies, such as generative AI.
Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree preferred, but inquisitiveness is even more important.
Big 4 or Regional Accounting Firm experience is greatly preferred.
