Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Training Instructor/Delivery Specialist at ADAPTATION located in Baltimore, MD. The Training Instructor/Delivery Specialist will be responsible for delivering training sessions for customer service representatives. The Instructor/Delivery specialist will also be responsible for training and mentoring potential new trainers.


Employment Type - Full Time Employee


Location: Baltimore, Maryland (Position requires Monday - Friday on-site attendance in the Baltimore Maryland office)

Responsibilities:

Training Content Knowledge Transfer

·    Rapidly gain knowledge transfer from subject matter experts and existing training documentation.

·      Utilizing Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), use training materials including Course Outlines, Course Presentations, Instructor Guides, Participant Guides, Job Aids, and Course Evaluations to support delivery of training.

 

Training Delivery

  • On-going classroom training for customer service representatives in 2 week intervals.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer from subject matter experts & existing documentation and are cross-trained to provide equal quality & coverage for all training delivery requirements.
  • Delivery of business process and system transactional based training curriculum via instructor-led training, hands-on training, and one-on-one coaching.
  •  Logging of open items, tracking of open items to resolution, trainee feedback.
  • Train and Mentor current customer service representatives to be able to become trainers, using an existing train-the-trainer program.

 

Post-Training Activities

  • Submission of attendance logs, course evaluation summations, monthly progress reports.
  • Post training evaluation of training curriculum and documentation.
  • Communicate recommendations to update training courses and training materials based on post-training evaluation and feedback.

 

Qualifications and Experience Required:

·      Undergraduate degree with at least 5 years experience in a corporate or public sector environment.  

·      5 years experience – Instructor Led Training Delivery in a wide variety of room & on-site settings.

·      5 years experience – Instructional Design / Training Development

·      Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills.

·      Strong organizational, time management, prioritization, conceptual, and planning skills.

·      Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
