Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CAD Designer to join our team in the Residential Land Development sector. The successful candidate will lead the design efforts to generate high-quality and accurate design drawings for residential land development projects. The Senior CAD Designer will be responsible for ensuring that the design meets industry standards, code requirements, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and develop design drawings for residential land development projects.
  • Ensure that designs meet industry standards, code requirements, and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that design objectives are met.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
  • Ensure that all design drawings are completed accurately, on time, and within budget.
  • Maintain project files and documentation to ensure that all designs are recorded and up to date.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD design for residential land development projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, and other relevant design software.
  • Experience in surface modeling, street and pipe networking, grading, feature lines and drafting.
  • Strong knowledge of residential land development design standards and practices.
  • Experience with Acrobat Pro and Bluebeam software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
