Roche Bobois is one the largest and most famous contemporary European furniture companies The North American branch operates over 35 stores.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Human Resource Coordinator to join our Rancho Dominguez team and help the organization continue meeting its goals. Under the management of the Human Resource manager, you are expected to oversee duties within employee schedules and relations, documentation of employment processes, recruiting, and other administrative tasks.


Job Title: Human Resource Coordinator

Location: Roche Bobois Rancho Dominguez Warehouse

Hours: Monday – Friday (7:00am – 3:30pm)


JOB DESCRIPTION


Time Management & Scheduling:

  • Review timesheets to ensure employees are clocking out appropriately for lunches & breaks in accordance with state & federal laws
  • Consolidate clocking systems across all current and future sites
  • Maintain timeline for enrollment and set up of benefits


Training & Licensure:

  • Ensure all employees are current on required training (e.g., TSA, sexual harassment, etc.)


Hiring & Onboarding & Terminating:

  • Implement the new hire onboarding process including employer verification, W4, I-19 Identification
  • Process terminations (final pay, W2’s, exit interviews, etc.) for all exiting employees, ensuring there is proper documentation of all necessary information required for an involuntary termination (corrective actions, performance improvement plans, etc.)
  • Maintain employee relations which include mediating employees concerns and complaints, issuing warning request, implementing personal improvement plans, and opening investigations


Recruitment:

  • Prepare and post job ads on hiring mediums (primarily LinkedIn and Indeed)
  • Complete resume screening and initial phone screens
  • Schedule interviews and keep calendars for all hiring teams and candidates
  • Greet and assist warehouse interviewees onsite
  • Assist with new hire onboarding (offer letters, hiring paperwork, etc.)
  • Assigning employees training courses
  • Helping with supply orders per request
  • Organizing events, meetings, or retrieve quotes per manger's request
  • Other tasks assigned by management


Skills:

  • Experience using social networks for recruiting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must be detail oriented and have proven organizational skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate tactfulness, and diplomacy and have a high level of interpersonal skills in order to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Applications (Office, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Plus: Paychex or experience with HR Software


Requirement:

  • 2-3 years of relevant professional human resources
  • Bachelor's in human resources
