Position Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all fuel related sales within a defined territory. This role will require the capability to manage multiple functions, from direct sales to developing and managing a high-performing team. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader, adept at selling, cold calling, account development and customer retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plan to drive territory growth and achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
- Drive the acquisition of new accounts while managing and expanding existing accounts.
- Engage in direct sales activities, including negotiations and contracts, to foster business growth and meet revenue targets.
- Collaborate with other leaders to enhance overall performance and operational efficiency.
- Utilize CRM and other sales management tools to track sales activities, forecast accurately, and report sales performance.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and customers.
- Stay informed of market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of sales experience in the energy, oil, or related industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, mentor, and lead a sales team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Ability to travel as required to meet business needs.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-player mentality.
