Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in heavy civil construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of heavy civil construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and progress reports.
  • Monitor project performance, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to oversee work progress and address any issues or delays.
  • Lead project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in project management within heavy civil construction.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects (highways, bridges, utilities, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, MS Project).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
