About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled software developer to lead the technical development of medium- to large-scale projects from start to finish. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive technical design and implementation, and provide leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5-10 years of experience developing software in an enterprise environment
  • Proficiency in:
  • Azure technologies
  • Event-driven programming
  • Relational databases (e.g., .NET, Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Building scalable, distributed systems (e.g., REST-based APIs, microservices, messaging frameworks)
  • Cloud-ready application development (e.g., Azure, JFrog)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical development of software projects from inception to user acceptance
  • Collaborate with scrum teams on technical design and implementation
  • Work with product owners to estimate and refine upcoming work
  • Provide technical leadership and contribute to architectural decisions
  • Present options to set client expectations and liaise with multiple groups (e.g., infrastructure, information security, service desk)
  • Research external software solutions and contribute to vendor selection
  • Mentor junior developers and participate in the selection process
  • Propose modifications to software development standards and ensure their implementation
  • Support production software operations
