Job Summary

Better Being is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to be responsible for the compilation and interpretative analysis of complex statistical data. As well as provide documentation and reports based on these statistical analyses and may give presentations concerning the findings of these reports.

Essential Functions

  • Analyze supply chain data using statistics and other methodologies to solve complex business problems
  • Maximize supply chain optimization by analyzing inventory strategies, risks, and opportunities
  • Research and understand key supply chain processes, performance drivers, and market trends to better organize analytical outputs
  • Design and build analytical solutions to automate manual processes
  • Integrate relevant information and disparate data sources in developing and automating analysis, insights and recommendations
  • Create Excel and PowerBI dashboards and visualizations to track key performance indicators and effectively communicate trends on a timely basis
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain Team to understand and prioritize opportunities where data and analytic insights can provide significant business value
  • Summarize analytical findings and make recommendations on potential business opportunities to key stakeholders
  • Conducts quantitative and qualitative analytical research in support of corporate strategies and business opportunities
  • Maintain historical data records by organizing and filing statistical reports, developing formats for time-line analysis; determining limitations on usability and reliability
  • Manage operational databases to insure data integrity and scalability
  • Generate SQL queries as needed
  • Measure supply chain performance and report to management

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.
  • Ad hoc reporting as requested and supply chain market trending analytics

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting/finance, mathematics or statistics from a four-year college or university; strong emphasis in business finance, statistics or mathematics
  • Strong analytical and computer skills with advanced use of spreadsheets and databases
  • Proficiency using SQL, Python Programming, Power BI, and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of supply chain functions and how they correspond with one another
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence, including the ability to present information and respond to questions
  • Experienced working with various ERP systems and back-end databases
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions
  • Interpret an extensive variety of technical instruction in mathematical and diagram form using both abstract and concrete variable

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to: stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear.
  • The employee must exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.
