Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator at LAPPCO. The Estimator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to estimating precast concrete projects. This includes analyzing project requirements, reviewing drawings and specifications, conducting quantity takeoffs, preparing cost estimates, and coordinating with the project team to ensure accurate and timely estimates.


Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings
  • Experience in conducting quantity takeoffs and preparing accurate cost estimates
  • Knowledge of precast concrete products and construction methods
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe and Blue Beam
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field
