CGS has a BRAND NEW opportunity for a Telecommunications Manager (IT/MDM/EMM/Expense Management) to work on a contract to hire basis managing the design, implementation, and maintenance of wireless devices and wireless management software, wireline telecommunications infrastructure, and private VOIP phone systems. Reporting to the CIO the ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to create and deliver informative and actionable presentations to corporate executives, senior management, and peers.


Location: 100% REMOTE


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for wireless and wireline telecommunications operations, aligning them with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Manage and oversee the Telecom Expense Management (TEM) vendor relationship.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to wireless and wireline telecommunications in the data center industry.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, leveraging new technologies and solutions to enhance services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of telecommunications systems.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols in all telecommunications infrastructure projects.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of telecommunications systems to meet customer SLAs and business needs.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the telecommunications budget.
  • Track expenses, monitor costs, and identify cost optimization opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the financial performance of the telecommunications function.
  • Assist with the preparation of wireless and wireline budgets for the organization.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years working in corporate office or relevant telecommunications consulting experience.
  • Must have ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, executing against both individually as well as broader strategic initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of Telecom Expense Management (TEM).
  • Knowledge of Telecom, Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Enterprise Mobility management (EMM).
  • Vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Track record in leading and managing telecommunications teams in complex environments.
  • Worked with VOIP phone systems, and industry standards.
  • Leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Ivanti (Mobile Iron).
