Come work with a woman and therapist run company Ampersand Therapy is seeking to elevate the employment experience of working in schools. We are hiring an Elementary Special Education teacher long-term substitute in White Bear Lake, MN for the 24-25 school year.
Job Details:
- Elementary School Special Education Teacher Position
- Dates: November 1, 2024 - April 17, 2025
- Full time, 1.0 FTE Monday - Friday (Student day 7:30 am- 2:15 pm)
- Work with Special Education Team to implement accommodations, interventions, etc. according to student IEPs
- Serve as a case manager for students by: developing and maintaining IEPs; facilitating IEP meetings
- Create a welcoming, safe, meaningful environment for students with moderate to significant disabilities
- Attend staff meetings, IEP meetings, and coordinate with school teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in teaching, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- MN Teaching License in the area of Special Education or related services, DCD Licensure preferred
