SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Hiring for Multiple Positions: Elementary, Middle, High School Levels
Resource Classroom
Weekly Paychecks | Full Benefits | Contract Position

ProCare Therapy is working with a school district in Antioch, IL to hire several school based professionals. Special education teachers are needed at the elementary, middle, and high school level.

Schedule:

  • Full-Time position
  • 32.5 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:00am-3:00pm (May slightly differ depending on school assignment)

Assignment:

  • 2024-2025 School Year
  • Start: January 6th (option to begin earlier if applicant is willing/able)
  • End: June 5th, 2025
  • Option to renew contract for the new school year

Job Type:

  • Positions Available: Elementary, Middle, and High School
  • Resource Classroom
  • Teacher will work with students with IEPs to provide specialized instruction so that they may access the general education curriculum.
  • Teacher will work alongside content area teams, general education teachers, and other special education teachers to develop curriculum and behavior plans that are appropriate for the least restrictive environment.
  • Provide direct services to students, write IEP's and track data, and perform other case management duties.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Special Education ORa degree specific to teaching students with Special Needs.
  • Special Education Certificate or License in state of employment.
  • Previous experience in school setting is preferred.
