Role Overview: 

  1. As a Purchasing Manager with Remote Vans, you will be primarily responsible for issuing Purchasing Orders to all vendors and suppliers.
  2. As a highly experienced NetSuite operator, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels on every part used on the Assembly Line at Remote Vans.
  3. As an experienced CPA, you will manage finance and accounting responsibilities, including financial forecasts, inventory forecasting, as well as vendor and supplier terms, in order to assist the Remote Vans Executive Team in making educated economic decisions for the company. 


General Responsibilities


Purchasing / Accounting Operations

  • Lead on Inventory Part Purchasing
  • Managing Vendors - Lead Times, Terms, Service Contracts
  • Monitor and control part inventory levels.
  • Maintain & improve the timeliness, accuracy and efficiency of all financials.
  • Maintain relevant S.O.P.s ensuring efficient, repeatable, standardized processes are followed.


Financial Controls & Policies

  • Develop and implement financial controls and policies to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
  • Develop and implement processes to improve financial efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Ensures that all manufacturer accounts, including warranty claims, rebates, interest protection and co-op advertising are current and accurate


Business Partnership

  • Review the reconciliation of general ledger accounts with outside sources to ensure proper bank reconciliation, reserve accounts, factory payable, and floor plan payable.
  • Work with senior management to develop business strategies that drive growth and profitability and build relationships with external financial professionals.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years of Current NetSuite Experience.
  • 5+ Years of Inventory Management
  • BS Degree in Accounting or Business Administration; CPA highly desirable.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry / accounting operations, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with suppliers, vendors, and staff
  • Able to deal with confidential information appropriately
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
