Allied Resources is looking for a Safety Manager who will be responsible for providing leadership at the project site to facilitate a culture based on safety, teamwork, and collaboration. This is a full-time long-term contract opportunity located in the Greater Greensboro, NC that offers a competitive base salary up to $145k/yr. plus full comprehensive health benefits packages, PTO package, employee programs, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate safety meetings such as orientations, toolbox talks, committee meetings, company-wide safety moments, and corporate safety updates.
- Conduct incident investigations or facilitate accident investigations including root cause identification.
- Recommend processes and safety features that will reduce employees’ exposure to physical, environmental, and construction hazards.
- Perform job site safety inspections and audits.
- Assist construction leadership by participating in Job Safety Analysis and other related meetings.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience required.
- OSHA 510 is required.
- Bachelor's/Associate's Degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Must have an uncompromising drive for compliance and willingness to escalate issues as needed.
