Job Summary

The Quality Control Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the consistent quality of our products throughout the production process. They are responsible for meticulously preparing batch records, conducting thorough inspections of work-in-progress and finished goods, and coordinating testing with external laboratories. In addition to maintaining adherence to quality standards, they also actively contribute to process improvements and the implementation of corrective actions when necessary. The Quality Control Technician collaborates closely with production staff, management, and external partners to uphold our commitment to excellence in product quality.


Qualifications

·     Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

·     Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.

·     Experience with quality management systems (e.g., GMP) preferred.

·     Proficiency in interpreting technical documents and specifications.

·     Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

·     Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·     Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

·     Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

·     Certification in quality control or related areas (e.g., Certified Quality Technician) a plus.


Responsibilities

·     Review and authorize batch records signed off by production personnel.

·     Conduct internal inspections of work-in-progress (WIP) and approve based on lot specifications.

·     Coordinate quality control (QC) testing with external laboratories and approve results by lot.

·     Review and approve WIP for final production, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

·     Perform internal inspections of finished goods and approve based on lot specifications.

·     Manage lot disposition processes.

·     Conduct inspections of raw material components.

·     Address non-conformances promptly and coordinate investigations as necessary.

·     Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) as required to maintain quality standards.

·     Assist with customer complaints.

·     Collaborate with management on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) pertaining to product failures in the field.

·     Play a key role in the Quality Management System (QMS), focusing on process and continuous improvement.

·     Ensure strict adherence to quality control procedures across all operations.


Physical Requirements

·     Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

·     Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
