Project Cost Controls Leader

Location: Plaquemine

Long-term contract (2-3 years)

Per dime for those who qualify

This position will manage, analyze, and forecast Turnaround-related costs throughout the life cycle and provide essential information to the management Strategy Team and Steering Team during all phases of the turnaround.

Responsibilities:

The Project Cost Controls Leader will be responsible for developing and monitoring schedules, cost, productivity, and innovations.

  • Develop procedures that are in place to accomplish a certain step in the flow chart, and communication plans.
  • Analyze the data inputs in all of these areas and provide recommendations to key decision-makers in the TA Organization (i.e. TAMs, Steering Team, Strategy Leadership and others) to help ensure that the key TA metrics remain under control.
  • Create tools for Electronic Time Tickets (ETT’s), Master Resource Plan (MRP’s), Service Entry Sheets (SES’s) and invoicing.
  • Develop a singular dashboard that draws in all data for each phase of the TA (Pre-Work, Execution Work, Post Work).
  • Wrench Time Analysis, worker and Asset Visibility
  • Gate Data Productivity Factors - Earned vs. Billed, Earned vs. Promised Headcount (70% productivity), Earned vs. Scheduled, etc.
  • Create and communicate schedule updates
  • Assume the responsibility of developing and setting up the organization that will support the Add-on/Change and the RFI processes, this includes finding templates, submitting ETTs, updating MRP, etc.
  • Expectations with WAV and WT
  • Overview of the dashboard that we will utilize data available that we will share with them
  • TA Cost Leader Knowledge & Skills Knowledge, SAP, software applications, plant Maintenance Orders and Components (labor and materials), Cost Centers
  • Material Order process
  • Primavera P6
  • Geolocation Tracking (GPS)


Qualifications Required:

  • 2 years relevant experience in accounting, purchasing, projects, or a plant environment Or A Technical or Associate degree in business, accounting or finance
  • Strong comprehension and application of mathematics
  • Knowledge of SAP management systems and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Knowledge of work processes relating to project or turnaround management
