The In-Plant Quality Representative supports US Government Client Engineering Test, Evaluation and Quality group at a field location. The field location will house the manufacture/assembly/test of automation related equipment.


40 hours per week are anticipated. The position is located in Sparrows Point, MD 21117


Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements;
  • Required Skills - Must have the ability to communicate with personnel at all levels, must be able to read and comprehend Blueprints, Procedures, Work Instructions and Test Procedures.
  • Must be familiar with inspection and acceptance testing of electronic systems.
  • Conducts audits of ISO-9001 compliant management systems and reviews/analyzes data and documentation.
  • Acts as eyes/ears of the customer in a contractual relationship.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Witnesses and approves equipment test and packaging status, prior to shipment.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • Reports to an on-site supervisor.



  • Education and Experience:Bachelor's Degree, in area of specialty (preferred)
  • At least 8 years' of experience in the field or a related area
  • Experience using MS Office Suite software (Word, Excel, and Access) and specialized software programs



  • Additional Requirements:Candidate must be able to sit, stand and work at a computer for prolonged periods
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check & drug test
