Job Description


This position will be engaged in the following projects:


- Design and analyze mechanical systems for Medical X-Ray Source Applications

- Develop & analyze conceptual & detailed designs and conduct design feasibility studies and verification/validation testing on new and modified products

- Provide design information to drafting for components and assemblies

- Establish manufacturing processes and documentation for assembly of new products

- Direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication.

- Position will support development and integration of hydrodynamic bearings into X-ray source products (Experience with liquid metal or other hydrodynamic journal bearings is preferred)



Education and Experience

- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

- 2+ years of related experience
