Responsible for development, implementation, and execution of the Field Technician Development Program


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee programs for onboarding new hires and fostering continuous growth and development for current Technicians.
  • Collaborate with Management to schedule field academy training sessions to meet onboarding and training requirements.
  • Evaluate and monitor Technician skillsets closely.
  • Provide detailed reports after each session for record-keeping, management review, and discussion of next development steps.
  • Actively seek program improvements to enhance training and better address the developmental needs of Technicians.


Knowledge/Skills:

  • Demonstrate the ability to evaluate and train Service Technicians in all aspects of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering professional and courteous field services. Capable of analyzing technical competencies to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Proficient in Glovia, service databases, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledgeable in BOM structures, wiring schematics, and HVAC controls.
  • Basic understanding of application and product engineering practices.
  • Fundamental knowledge of desiccant dehumidification, refrigeration, and heating.
